Main Street

Main Street is a big area of pedestrian-only streets and a great place to go on a shopping trip. On the streets you can find all kinds of stores, from chain stores to gourmet shops. There are also plenty of cafés and fast food restaurants to go for a bite of food when the shopping has left you hungry and if you just want to relax with friends, then a few of the streets have cozy hang-out spots with a patch of green grass and benches.

The apartments

The size, quality and style of the apartment buildings vary from which part of the Main Region you live in. The closer you are to Main Street, the more expensive the apartments are. But if you live in the outer circle of the region, you can find a smaller apartment (or bigger if you want to share it) for a very reasonable price even as a student, so it's not entirely impossible for someone with an okay salary to live here.

Corner's bar

Corner's bar is a great bar for a night out with friends. It's well-known but not overcrowded and with not that expensive beer compared to it being almost in the city center. It's cozy and fun and overall good vibes.

Vibes Club

Vibes Club (mostly known as Vibes) is the hottest nightclub in town. With a huge dancefloor, banger beatdrops and way too expensive colorful cocktails. Take a night out on town and dance your heart out in your coolest outfit - where the less clothes you wear, the better.

The Ilomar City Hospital

The Ilomar City Hospital (also known as ICH) is the main hospital of the city. It's placed on the edge of the Main City and is a huge campus with different several-floors buildings. Very modern with lots of windows across the entire buildings. The main building is of course the one easiest to find and then the other buildings are mostly used for specific categories such as the orthopedic clinic or the ophthalmologist.

The lecture grounds

IUC has two big buildings which are the lecture grounds (East and West). In these there are class rooms, auditoriums, halls and of course office rooms. The buildings are big with several floors. This is where most of the education of IUC takes place.

The Campus Center

The center of IUC - as seen on the photo on the region list - is a green area with seating opportunities and pretty pink-leafed trees. In the summer it's a typical spot for students to spend their breaks and hang out with friends, and in the morning it's packed with students rushing to get to their classes in time.

The training grounds

IUC actually has a large percentage of Warlocks, compared to other universities. About 20% of the students are Kirsha Warlocks and then there's a few Enferi warlocks as well (and possibly some Godia and Nachon Warlocks that the school doesn't know about). Because of this, there needs to be a training ground for the students to work on their magic skills. This training ground is a huge area of the campus, where you can find everything from a fountain for Water Warlocks, a fire simulator for Fire Warlocks, fighting areas (inside and outside), gardens for Plant Warlocks or Earth Warlocks, almost everything a Kirsha Warlock could desire.

The dorms

Most people who study at IUC also lives on campus. They live in different dorms, where about 8 people share a kitchen and common area and then you have your own (small) bedroom and (small) bathroom. It's cozy and most students enjoy living here. Of course some students pay to live at their own apartments also on campus, but these are expensive and few.

Ilomar Library

This is the city's biggest library. It is actually separated into different parts, spread across the campus, depending on the category of education you want to read up on. Some of these sections are only open to students and professors while other sections - the sections closes to the other parts of the city - are open to the public as well.

The laboratory

The study café

Since students have shared kitchens areas, there are no need for a cafeteria on Campus. Most students also go to the Main City to go to cafés for fun. But if they need a cool place to study, in groups or alone, and are low on caffeine then the Study Café is the place to go. It's modern and light in colors with different cakes and sandwiches and all the coffee you'd want. Litterally - if you want to, you can pay one year membership so you can get coffee ad libitum for the whole semester. Talk about a deal!

The woods

Besides the campus, at the outskirts of town, there is a smaller area of forest, however still big enough to get lost. In there people love to go on walks, hike, camp and of course get drunk at night with their friends. There are also rumors about this being a meet-up spot for creepy Nachon Warlocks who do rituals to get their powers, but of course this is just scary tales. However, the woods are now more scary than ever after the beheaded, murdered crown prince, Theodor, was found in there. Now most people don't dare to go for walks there anymore, and you can turn into a subject if a Godia Warrior finds you roaming around in there.

The Godia Castle

The Godia Castle is the home of the Royal family. It is a grandiose stone castle with colorful flower arrangements and statues of important historical figures outside. There is a tourist area of the castle, where people can see a tour of some parts of the castle while hoping to see one of the Royals (but the royals never go to that part of the castle), but other than that the castle is closed off and only the Royal family, the Godia Warriors, the servants and of course the guests of the family are allowed to enter.

The Godia Warrior Residence

The Godia Warrior Residence (mostly known as the GW) is a large close-offed area for Godia Warriors. It's like it's own small city with a grocery store, a cafeteria and barracks for the Warriors in training. The trainers, the generals, have their own apartments, and then the Godia Warriors done with training can choose to keep living there or to move into the city. In this area there are also training grounds designed for the Godia Warriors and schools for them to be taught in.

The Having Dove Hall

The Having Dove Hall is the Town Hall of Ilomar City. This is where the president and his committee have their meetings and work. It is a huge, classical mansion that has been formed into a political building. You are not allowed to enter, if you don't have a meeting arranged with someone in the Town Hall. You often see important political figures walk in and out this building.

The Borcelle Hotel

Build in 1913 by the great entrepreneur Timothy Borcelle, The Borcelle Hotel is a significant establishment in the Haling Dove district. Its vintage design combined with its modern appliance - not to forget the beautiful view of surrounding nature - easily places The Borcelle Hotel at the top of the list of the most glamorous hotels of Ilomar. However, if the price was considered, it would probably place at the bottom instead - The Borcelle Hotel is the most expensive way to stay overnight in Ilomar City. Worth it every penny though - if you have enough pennies, that is!

The mansions

People who can afford to live in this region, live in mansion and manors. Huge homes with expensive designs and impressive layouts. Not many people live in Haling Dove, but it's still a huge region because there needs to be room for the great homes that people live in.

The surrounding nature

Haling Dove has beautiful scenery surrounding the streets. Parks and gardens and flower arrangements follow the streets and curve around the huge buildings. It's always upkept and even during winter time it looks like a fairytale.

Iosta Cathedral

Iosta Cathedral is the main church of both the city and the country. It's a huge stone cathedral with gigantic windows above ground to make sure as much light as possible without people being able to look inside the great hall. This is where the biggest funerals for the important public figures are hold and also where there are holidays rituals and services of worship being held by the Enferi priests (and sometimes Nitrius the Fifth himself).

The Iostanity Monastery

The Iostanity Monastery is the home of the Enferi Priests. It houses all the priests and novices. Even the high priest Nitrius the Fifth lives there. It's a stone monastery where the priests have their own small chambers and then a shared eating area, activity rooms, study rooms (for the novices) and gardens.

Cirrane Prison

Now, you might find it weird for the city's prison to be located in a middle-to-upper-middle-class region as Cirrane and not all the families living in the region are happy about it either. But as part of the Iostanity religion the Spirit is to be protected, even in prison. That's why the prison is at the edge of the region, where the priests can easily arrive to hold services of worship to save the Spirit of the prisoners. Of course the prisoners are mostly humans - the Nachon and Godia Warlocks that are captured somehow always seem to disappear before reaching the prison.

The Cirrane neighborhood

The Cirrane neighborhood is cozy and pretty with lots of small parks and flower arrangements. There are the main driving streets and then there are cobblestone roads where most of the houses are located. The houses are family homes from the middle to the upper-middle class, depending on how close you are to the city center. You can also find stores and a few restaurants in the area.

The Elemental Temple

There is another smaller church in this region and this is the Elemental Temple. It's the temple dedicated to Delianism. It's the only official temple of this religion in the city, since the religion mostly is practiced separately in small communities or families, but it still is very active. It is a smaller church though and it has happened a few times this year that someone has made vandalism on it. There are several services of worship a week because they are separated by which Elemental that's being worshipped - however, the priest of the church always makes sure to worship Iosta as well as to not break any laws.

The Paendley neighborhood

The Paendley neighborhood is a family-friendly neighborhood with lots of green areas and big streets where the kids can play (if they remember to watch out for cars!) It's a calm area for the middle class of the city, where most homes are terraced houses, in some areas bigger than others, which lots of rooms indoors for the family to grow and usual a small backyard for the kids and pets to play in.

Paendley Park

This is a big, family-friendly park with a playground, a lake and very pretty scenery.

Nova Kitchen

Nova Kitchen is an almost newly opened restaurant, that opened just this year. It's always wildly popular with its new takes on classic dishes and it's modern, dark-mode interior. It's great for romantic dates, for work party events and for celebrations with the family. However, a few people who live in this region needs to save up before spending an evening at the restaurant. It is a bit more on the expensive side than the other cafés in this area. But it's every coin worth its price!

The King's Mall

If you don't feel like going into the Main City to run your errands, you can always go to the King's Mall. It's an okay-sized mall with different chain stores and fast food restaurants. It can be a bit noisy when there's a lot of people but it's a great place to go if you just need to get your shopping done and go home. Other than that there's also a cinema and a gym.

The Wholeness Church

The Wholeness Church is also a church connected to Iostanity. It's still a large church but not as large as the cathedral. This is the 'ordinary people' church, where funeral, weddings and baptisms for non-public figures take place.

The beach

Paendley beach (which most people just call "the beach") is a fine sand beach with beautiful, clear water and a pretty view of the ocean. It's a big beach with a long hiking track, so there's room for both families with kids, for a couple going on a stroll and for the youngsters partying the summer away. There are plenty of ice cream shops and some touristy places to buy sunscreen, flip flops and knick-knacks for the tourists who wants a memory of the place to bring home with them

The Zeal Factory

The houses

Some people do live near the factories. This is the working class' living area where they can afford (low quality) houses for not that much money. The air isn't that clean and it's noisy from the factories but other than that it's actually an okay place to live.

The garbage dump

The docks

It's not uncommon for the capital of a city to be a harbor town and therefor it's not uncommon for a capital to have docks. The docks in the Leeside Region are not for tourists (there is a smaller dock by the Main City, leading right into the Main Street). These docks are industrials, mainly used to transport huge loads of materials used or created at the factories. At daytime they're full of workers but at nighttime they're mostly empty of people. There are cameras around to keep track on what happens there at night - but not all of them works and they aren't everywhere.

The backstreets

The backstreets are the very narrow and dark streets of Erast. This is where most criminal cases happen - probably one of the most dangerous places to walk in the whole city. People who live in the region knows how to handle the backstreets. But even they know that they should stay out of there when the night falls.

The Drunken Nachon

The Drunken Nachon is a sleazy pub with the cheapest beer, the dirtiest tables and the best bar fights in the city. Everyone's welcome - as long as they can handle when the night gets rougher.

Dominic's house - the EFA headquarter

The EFA headquarter looks like any other shabby building in Erast. It's an old factory that has been made into a home containing an open living space (living room and kitchen), a bathroom for everyone to share, a room with some bunk beds and then two private rooms, Dominic's and Cadmus'. It's not a pretty building and there are a lot of cracks and holes in the worlds and when it rains, it drips from the ceiling. But for some people it's home - and for the EFA, it's the base, where they meet and talk about their next mission. But that is not known to the public.

The Full Circle Temple

The Full Circle Temple is the only known temple of Iostantism - the illegal religion. Now, it's not known as known by the state. It's known by the people of the religion and by people of the Erast. It's not really a temple either, it's just an old house with a big living room that's been made into a temple with carpets to cover the broken floor and paintings of Iosta to cover the broken walls. Services of worship are never at the same time as the week before, because they're afraid of getting caught, so flyers with the new time will be spread out in the community every week. Not a lot of people show up for the services of worships but there is a small community of believers that come. Most people in Erast knows about this temple and will a lot of the residents look down upon it, no one rats it out to the state.

The black market

You know the one - the market place where you can get everything your heart desires. Rare, dangerous Zeals, blood of a Godia Warrior, your favorite hummus. Most of what you can think to get will be there - but they all come with a price.

The homes of Erast

Now, "homes" might be a generous word. Some homes in Erast are in fact houses, ramshackle and cramped, but homes, while some are very cheap apartments of the lowest quality and safety and some are simply homes made out of ruins and old, empty buildings from when Erast was build to be the industrial part of the city many decades ago. Some people also simply live in the streets - the region is so cramped that most streets are sheltered from possible rain due to protruding rooftiles and laundry and other stuff hanging out the windows.
